Banbury Judo Club was formed in 1975, although the history of Judo in Banbury goes much further back.

Over the years we have had many coaches and a few Judoka make it on the international stage. 

The club has had a few homes, we have been located in the Bodicote scout hut, wood green leisure centre, spice ball gym and now we have our home in BGN school (see the find us page).

Banbury is home to 14 Black Belts with 7 still training and teaching.
